The lirsf motion, " That a special committee be ' set up to inquire and report into the whole 1 of the present management of the electric 1 train service, with power to examine the officials' books, etc.," was then moved by Mr. Wilson, who declined to formulate any charge in open Council. In discussion, Mr. Wilson was condemned for giving notice of motion. Mr. Louden, chairman of the Trains Committee., said he believed the whole thing was the outcome of tittle-tattle or, the part of servants. The motion was lost by 9 votes to 7, and the second portion I was then allowed to be withdrawn.
