THREE MEN INJURED.

Nelson", Tuesday. A skcious accident occurred at Cooper and Company's contract for the erection of tho new post office this morning. Osborne, a bricklayer's labourer, was carrying mortar on a scaffolding when ho tripped. Page, a bricklayer, and Grant, clerk' of works, rushed to his assistance, and all three fell together. The scaffolding was nine feet above the floor joists, which covered the cellar, a further depth of six feet. Page fell between tho joists, -fifteen feet, and escaped with slight injuries. Osborne and Grant struck a joist, and were severely cut about tlie head. Grant was unconscious for a time. The condition of both is somewhat serious, but their injuries aro not expected to result fatally.
