The current issue of the Auckland WeeklT] News contains a, remarkable variety of high-), class illustrations, dealing with events' of wide interest, as well as some beautiful,' scenic and industrial views in various por-' tions of the. colony. The double page is dtn voted to excellent panoramic views of the. opening of the Kaipara Flats section of the < North Auckland railway, the Wanganui: Agricultural and Pastoral Society's show on People's Day, and the Auckland Automobilo ' Association's monthly run. The opening of' the Kaipara Flats railway section is a most important step towards the development of North Auckland, and the fino.panoramic of the ceremony shows the large assembly of residents and visitors at the station when the Premier was declaring the line open. Scenes at. the Auckland Horticultural Sb- 1 ciety's show illustrate the largest and mosfc successful function yet held by the society* and include general views, showing the ex hibits in the marquees, some of the principal prize-winning exhibits, and the beautiful bridal bouquet in the Choral Hall.
