Information has been received in Wellington to the effect that Mr. J. Our Wanganu- correspondent writes: — A pleasant function look place at the Rutland Hotel on Thursday evening, when ■V; Mr. Allan Robinson was entertained by ;- * the 'settlers of Mangamahu. Mr. Robinson i/ has been a settler in the Mangamahu district- for the past quarter of a century, ' and is now about to take up-his residence in the Waikato.
