CARNIVAL WEEK RETURNS. [BY TELEGRAPH.PRESS ASSOCIATION.] - * Christchurch, Saturday. The total number of persons carried on the Chtistchurch tramways during carnival week was 183,590. The largest number on any one line was 61,384 on the Papanui section, followed by 39,480 on the Lincoln Road line, including the show-grounds.. The largest total on one day was 44,555 on show day (Friday). ~ . ; .
