-. Waihi, Saturday. NOMINATIONS for the position of secretary of the Miners' Union were received last night as follows:-Messrs. W. F. Whyte, Win. Clark, John J. Scanlqn, S. B. Radford. George Roxborough, John Waters, David Robertson, Thos. Heaps, sen., Roderick McMillan, James Fleming, Win. H. Morton, H. F. J. Rca, and Edward .T. Han--11011.. The election takes place on November 23. Mr. P. White met with a very painful accident yesterday. He was riding a bicycle when the machine got into a rut, "and ho fell heavily to the ground. The muscles of his shoulder were badly lacerated.
