' 1 Mr. George Russell, a grain-broker, his daughter, a youth named Purton, and two I <'M;' sisters named Calender, were crossing the * 'V line in a buggy, when a special train, with passengers from Nathalia show, dashed into ; them. • • ' \ The train struck the buggy with such terrific force that it was smashed, and the horses were cut to pieces. Mr. Russell, his daughter, and young Purton were killed on the spot, and the , ' Misses Cullender were seriously injured. ■1 •
