The mail steamer Sierra, Captain 11. O. lloiul iette, arrived from Sydney yesterday morning-, and after the usual medical and Customs inspection berthed at the Queenstreet Wharf. The steamer left Sydney at 2 p.m. on Monday last, passed Cape Maria, van Diemen at '1.50 p.m. on Thursday, and arrived at 7 a.m. yesterday. Strong southwest gales and heavy beam seas prevailed during the passage. The Sierra resumed her voyage to Island port? and San Francisco shortly after 3 p.m. yesterday. THE ZEALAND!A. The Huddart-Parker steamer Xealandia is due at Auckland to-morrow from Sydney, and proceeds to Fast, (.'oast and Southern ports on Tuesday afternoon. THE IT A UROTO.
