' The Union Company's steamer Tarawera left on Saturday afternoon for East Coast and Southern ports with a. number, of passengers and a quantity of general cargo. . Oil Saturday afternoon the' Northern Company's steamer Ngapuhi arrived from Whangarei with passengers and general cargo, and leaves for the same place, again to-night. The Northern Company's /steamer Clansman leaves this evening for Russell, Wha* ngaroa, and Mangonui. ' On Saturday afternoon the auxiliary Kchooner Greyhound left for the North with a large general cargo. The barque Aldebaran will be floated out of the Auckland Dock to-day, and will lie towed down to Mercury Bay to-night by the Pelican to load timber for Sydney. On Saturday night the tugboat Awarua left for Whananaki to bring a raft of logs to Auckland.

Yesterday the steamer Glenelg arrived from Whangarci with a, cargo of coal. The Union Company's steamer Mokoia, left Wellington for Sydney en Saturday. To-day the barque Laira will be floated into the Auckland Dock for cleaning and painting. Yesterday the Northern Company's steamer Waitangi arrived from the North, and leaves for Tanranga at 5 p.m. to-day. The Northern Company's steamer Mangapapa arrived from Ohiwa and Whakatano ou Saturday with a cargo of maize, etc., and leaves for the same ports again at 5. p.m. to-day. ■ Yesterday afternoon the Northern Company's steamer Paeroa left for Whangarci Town Wharf. The Northern Company's steamer Terranora leaves at 8 o'clock to-night for Mercury 'Bay, Tairua, and Whangamata. Yesterday the Northern Company's steamer Wellington arrived from Tauranga, and leaves at 7 p.m. to-day for Honhora and Hold an The Northern Company's steamer Chelmsford resumes her running to the North this afternoon after general overhaul. Last night the Northern Company's steamer Kanieri left for Whaugarei to bring down a cargo of lime and cement to Auckland. The Union Company's steamer Hawea left Westport for Auckland yesterday morning with a cargo of coal. THE APANUI. The Northern Steamship Company have received cable advices stating that the- new steamer Apanui, now on the voyage from Glasgow to Auckland, arrived at Port Said on Thursday last. THE MAORI. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company's steamer Maori, which arrived from London on Friday, completed putting out her explosives on Saturday, and berthed at the Queen-street Wharf, and will commence (lischarging her cargo of general merchandise this morning. THE STAR OP AUSTRALIA. The Tyser liner Star of Australia is due at Auckland to-day from London, Melbourne and Sydney, and on discharge of her cargo proceeds South.

TRANSHIPMENTS. , I The Victoria, which arrived from the South, yesterday, brought transhipments per lonic from London, and Wimmera from Melbourne and Uobart. The barquentine Pendle Hill, Captain R. Owens, arrived from Newcastle early on Saturday morning, and after the usual inspection was granted pratique and berthed at the Railway Wharf to discharge her cargo of coal. The master reports sailing from Newcastle on July 18. Met with generally ■ fine weather until Hearing the New Zealand coast on Wednesday last, when she fell in with the recent gale, particulars of hei experiences appearing in another part of this issue. On discharge the vessel proceeds to Mercury Bay to load timber for Sydney. THE VICTORIA. The Huddart-Parker steamer Victoria arrived from Southern and East Coast ports at. 10 a.m. yesterday, and berthed at the Quay-street Jetty No. 2. Mr. Mcßurney, the purser, reports that the steamer left Dnnediu on. Tuesday last, and called at Lyttelton, Wellington, Napier, and Gisborne, leaving the latter port at 11.30 a.m. on Saturday, and arriving as above. Light variable winds, with moderate east and north-wesi; swell, prevailed to the East Cape, which was passed at 4.45 p.m. on Saturday; thence fresh north-west wind, with rough head yea. until 6 a.m. yesterday; thence line weather to arrival. The Victoria, proceeds on to Sydney at 5.30 p.m. to-day. THE ZEALANDIA. The Huddart-Parker steamer Zcalandia, Captain Entwisie, arrived from Sydney at 1.55 p.m. yesterday, and after the usual inspection berthed at the Queen-street Wharf. Mr. McLean, the purser, reports that the steamer left Sydney at 1 p.m. and passed through Port Jackson Heads at 1.33 p.m. on. Wednesday last. Experienced strong southerly winds and high beam seas, followed by moderate to fresh south-westerly and westerly winds and moderate seas to passing the Threo .Kings at 8.40 p.m. on Saturday, the same weather conditions prevailing clown the coast to arrival.
