V Wellington, Wednesday. At a meeting of licensed victuallers, representing various parts of the colony, which was held here to-day, it was resolved to take combined action in the direction of an en-> deavour to keep the trade as pure as possible. It is understood that each local organisation is 'to be recommended not to admit members unless they are both capable and reputable, if being recognised that individual abuses in the past have had an injurious effect on the interests of the trad* as a whole.
