FLOURMILLERS' ASSOCIATION.
' A DIFFICULTY SETTLED.^ [m telegraph.—press association.] T Christchtjrch, Wednesday. At a meeting of directors of the New Zealand Flourmillefs' Co-operative Association matters connected with the general working of the association, and more especially the alleged grievances of the Timaru millers, were disoussed at some length. Owing to the decision of the Supreme Court at Dunedin, in which it was held that the proprietor of two mills could, if he' desired,, shut on© down and be entitled to the same' output from the one as from the two, the Timaru millers complained that their rights under their agreement with the association were endangered. A deadlock was threatened with regard to the association's operations. At to-day's meeting matters were satisfactorily arranged by the directors' agreeing to a slight alteration in the association's methods, whioh will protect the interests of the Timaru millers. •
