IMMENSE QUANTITIES RELEASED FROM BOND. By Telegraph.Press Association.Copyright. London, July 3. Since the reduced tea duty came into force, 30,000, of tea has been released from bond in London alone.

Tho duty of Bcl per lb oil tea, imposed in 1904- to help to cover the deficit of that year, expired at the end of June, and fch-3 reduced duty of 6d per lb came into force on July 1. The Chancellor of the Exchequer when ho made his Budget proposals in April said the reduction of the duty by 2d l would mean a loss in revenue of about £1,500,000.
