BOARDING HOUSE DESTROYED .

Ashbubton, Saturday. 'A fire occurred about half-past six this morning in a two-storey wooden building occupied as a boardinghouse. The inside of the building was gutted, and. its contents were destroyed. The fire is supposed to have occurred through a boy leaving a lighted caudle in the servant's room. The furniture was insured for £75 in the Norwich Union, and the building for £350 in the same office.
