The top price was 31gns for a shearling, which was placed second in his class at the show. A gpjiS few really good Lincoln' from Southland sold at what.-'must be considered fair prices in these times, o^os: making tip to 20gns. The only Southdown which ■*as sold was a very nice two-shear by a Colman IJltfsrsm • from a Goodwood ewe. Messrs. Ho'ilt and j- Sons offered the rams recently bought in England - by. Mr. Thomas Hoult, but the unfortunate animals had been nearly killed by the dipping in quaran- }■ tine, and were not in a condition to be offered for y\»~ sale. Most, of the breeders of Corriedales are "1 ' in the position of having sold all their rams for the season, and the entry of these popular sheep prSlli§£*»» consequently small.
