The Government has decided that the egglaying competition now being promoted by the _ Marlborough Poultry Breeders' Association is to bo carried out under the supervision of the poultry branch of the Department of Agriculture. The New Zealand Utility Poultry Club decided to-night to accept the offer"of the Lincoln College Board of Governors, to arrange for holding the club's proposed egglaving competition at the college. A committee was elected to frame rules for the competition, with the view of starting at an early date. ■•
