Dunedin", Tuesday. At the Police Court to-day Charles Henry Cox, a young man recently from Auckland, was brought up on three charges of stealing jewellery and money, the result of recent robberies. From' the Royal Albert Hotel he had taken jewellery and cash to the value of £31; from the residence of W. H. Smith to the value of £55; .and from the premises of Mr. Lumley, jewellery to the value of £56. Cold in some of the articles had been melted down, and some of it disposed of. After hearing the evidence accused pleaded guilty, and was remanded to the Supreme Court for sentence.
