Resolutions upon these subjects had been forwarded to Mr. Seddoti as Minister for Education, to the AuditorGeneral, to the Auckland Education Board, and others interested. v As la, considerable amount of expense had been incurred in initiating - the union,, they, hoped thai mem-" bers would lose ho] time' in forwarding their subscriptions. Owing to the fact that the present was the first session of the union, the executive had 'an much ,as possible . avoided committing itself 'J on quest-ions ; - of f importance until all members had had an opportunity of expressing their views at a representative - meeting.
