Coyle, Ellisdon, Evans, ami [ McLean. Several applications for works . were referred to the Works Committee to be ■ dealt with. An application for an additional >; lamp on the 'main; road, near the Mount ' Albert railway ; station, was referred to the Lighting Committee. The Eden District Cricket Club was granted permission to erect stonewalls at Kingsland Road, subject to their removing them at anv ; time when called upon to do so. AROHHILL ROAD BOARD. The ordinary meeting of the Archhill Road .Board was held in the Board room on Monday evening. It was arranged that the chairman represent the district at the forthcoming meeting to elect representatives to the' Hospital . and Charitable Aid Board. The Gas Company wrote stating "that a,reduction in the price offgaT for street lamps was being made. : : It was decided thai 1500 • gallons of tar be ordered From the Gaa Company.
