OTHER VESSELS ATTACKED.
THE GERMAN TRAWLER SONNTAG.
GERMAN AND NORWEGIAN VESSELS SHELLED. London, October 28. The master- of the Norwegian steamer Sktiatve says that on Sunday, when in the English Channel, the Russian warships fired upon his vessel, and ceased only when the Norwegian flag had been hoisted.
London - October S;9. It is officially reported that Prussian warships shelled the German trawler Sonntag on the same night, that an attack was made on the ' English trawlers at; Dogger Bank, j The. master of the Sonntag says | his vessel was subjected to the searchlight, and then the warships fired from all directions, at the rate of 80 shots a minute. A cargo steamer then approached and at once drew the Russian fire, shells bursting all round her, The firing at the German and Norwegian vessels is considered to be refutation of Admiral Eoshdestvenski's statement that he had acted at Dogger Bank in self-defence against supposed torpedo-boats, inasmuch as it discloses a systematic plan to interfere with the ocean rights of neutral vessels.
