The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Wakanui arrived from London at 8.20 a.m. yesterday, and after the usual inspection berthed at the Queen-street Wharf, where the work of discharging cargo-was proceeded with. Captain W. Worster is still in command, and the deck officers arc as follow:— Mr. H. Whitehead, E.K.E.; second, Mr. P. Perkins, E.iT.E.; third, Mr. C. Church, ■8.N.8.; fourth, Mr. P. Guistead. Mr. J. Chrystie is in charge of the engine department, and has with, him Messrs. W. Bruce, D. Gray, F. Wood, and Candy, Messrs. Hayes and Wooton being the refrigerating engineers.
