FATAL ACCIDENT IN A MINE.

[BY TELEGRAPH.—-PRESS association.] Du.vedin, Thursday. At Kaitangata yesterday an inquest was held on Jas. Adams Thomson, who met his death through a fall of coal a the Kaitangata mine, on the 25th inst. A verdict was returned stating that no blame was attachable to anyone. No fatal aceideut Lwd occurred in this mine for 12 years. The deceased was working near the face. The roof had been carefully examined and pronounced safe by the deceased, his son and several officials.
