MANAWATU LICENSING COMMITTEE.
[by telegraph.—press ASSOCIATION.] v , Marton, Friday. Adjourn applications for renewal of the licenses of two hotels at Shannon were considered by the Monawatu Licensing Committee yesterday, Alterations, and additions - to these houses were ordered to be carried out ever 12 months ago. The police now reported that the requirements, had .not been carried out. The committee instructed the licensees to have the work, completed in three months, otherwise they would seriously consider the refusal of th© licenses altogether.
