A bridge on Banbury railway has been washed away, and there have been numerous small washouts on the Great Southern railway. An accident lias occurred on the Upper Urwin railway, owing to a wasliaway having occurred at a culvert. A goods train dashed into a gully, and the driver, named G-eer, and the fireman, named Lyons, were pinned under the engiue, above which two« trucks were piled. Both were crushed to death.
