[IT TBLSGBIM.— ASSOCIATION.] Dtosdix, Saturday. 'A* the annual meeting of the Catlis's River Railway League, the president, Mr. K Chishohn, said there was in that part or the district through which it was proposed to take the railway 150,000 acres of practically virgin bush, having among other timber a plentiful supply of red pme, tot*», and birch. On * low estimate of 8000 superficial feet per acre, that meant 12 000,000 superficial feet,, which represented £4,800,000 on the trucks. The carrying of that over a period of, say, 50 years, meant an annual revenue for the railwav of £-30,000.
