A special meeting of the Auckland Hospital and Charitable Aid Board was held at the . Hutchinson; * crockery, T^S^s :-| : field, Potter, and Co. It was decided to invite fresh tenders for milk, interments ' ' and the supply or nations at Onchunga.' A ' Country Protest: A letter? was read from the "* Drnry Road Board - protests* against what it termed a proposal to «*p<«** %V-S an "extravagant sum" in the erection o) .; a doctor's'residence at the hospital and out J~~'' for the manager of the Costley Home. Whatever the position at ? the hospital might be, the opinion was expressed that the; proper place for the manager of a home w* * ! i» home itself.
