MELBOtrnNE, June 24, Tfltß Cabinet has decided to ask Captain Barton* the Administrator of New Guinea, for a summary of the statement left by the late Mr. Robinson, as to the JBoarabari Island affray. Preparations are being continued fur the sitting of the Commission of Inquiry, but When particulars arrive 6f Mr. Robißsort'B statement the Commission may be cancelled. The Minister for External Affairs (Mr. Hughes) has sent a message of condolence to Mr. Robinson's parents.
