TIMBER FELLING DISPUTE.

[BY telegraph.— ASSOCIATION.] Hokitika, Saturday. The District Court, before Judge Ward, has been engaged for the last two days hearing the action, James Reynolds v. J. C. Malfroy and Co., sawmillers, for £271 damages on account of defendants having, it was alleged, failed to carry out an agreement to cut out all unliable timber from plaintiff's freehold. The jury returned a verdict for defendants on all the issues.
