BISHOP NELIGAN.

OUR Katikati correspondent writes:— confirmation service was held on Sunday at the Anglican. Church by Bishop Neligan. His Lordship was driven over by Mr. Barry from Wailxi, and arrived at St. Peter's shortlyafter three o'clock in the afternoon. The weather was everything that could be desired. The church was crowded, many being: unable to gain admittance, and between 20 and 50 children were confirmed. At the close of the interesting ceremony the Bishop gave a most instructive anil impressive ; address, which was listened to with marked attention. On conclusion of the proceedings His Lordship returned to Waihi, having promised to preach there at the evening service.

On Monday evening (writes oar Te Aroha correspondent) Bishop Neligran held a confirmation service in St. Mark's Church, To Aroha. The audience, which comprised Wesleyans and Presbyterians, as well as Anglicans, was a large one, and a fair number of candidates worts presented for confirmation. Dunne: the course of the service.
