ACCIDENTAL DROWNING.

[BT TELEGRAPH.PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Carterton, Tuesday. An inquest on tho body of Owen Udy was held this morning by Mr. James, coroner. The evidence was to the effect that Cadwallader and deceased left their camp to cross the river for Grey town, on their way to Carterton, on Thursday about twelve o'clock. Horses were seen on the edge of the river on Friday morning, and one body was found on Sunday and identified as that of Udy. The face was slightly bruised by stones and snags. The watch irf one of the pockets stopped at a quarter-past twelve. A verdict of Accident ally drowned" was returned. There is no sign of Cadwailader's body yet.
