Details of the colony's agricultural exports for tha 12 months ending March 31 have just been issued iu a leaflet by the Department of Agriculture. Increases in thy quantity exported are shown in dairy produce and wheat, and decreases in oats, potatoes;, and frozen meat. The butter export, • amounting to 314,031cwt, was valued at £1,440,237, as against 263,196cwt, valued at . £1,a08,709, in the previous year. Cheese showed an increase from 74,611 tons, valued at £181,604, to 86,570 tons, valued at £217,149. The 181.905cw't of frozen beef sent abroad realised £233,206, a decrease of 99,499ewt in weight and ;y ,617 iu value as compared with the preceding 12 months. ' The falling-oil in ureases of frozen mutton was 114,138c\vt in weight, and ££9.10 a m value, the export being ],149,304c\<t, 'valued at £1,447,493.
