Considering the wicket was.true and fast, the batting on both sides .was tame, excepting Warner,' who had- two hours at the wicker*, and played sound and attractive ! cricket, and Braund, who inside things lively. I The Englishmen did not show to. advantage, and ol the home team Gehrs alone made any show against the bowling of .Braund, who bagged eight: wickets for. 43 runs.
