Monday evening. The sharemarkefc was very dull again to-day. In investment lines New Zealand Insurances had buyers at 85s 6d, sellers 87s. Westport Coals were looked for at £6 17s, no sellers quoting. Northern Steams (paid up) wero offered at 16s 3d, buyer 3 15s 9d. Devonport Steain Forrys at 38s 6d had no buyers. In mining lines Talismans wero firmer owing to a rumour of a development in the mine. Sellers advanced to 3s 3d and buyers to 3s. In other lines late prices ruled. AUCKLAND STOCK EXCHANGE.
