A SAD END.

[nv TELEQIUPH.—PBESS association.]

Wetxingtok, Monday. A man who gave the name of George Wilson, and was apparently a labourer, called at the district hospital to-day for treatment as an out-patient. The medical officer in attendance saw he was in a very weak state, and advised him to stay as an inpatient. He refused to do so, and took his departure, but, being observed to sit down a skorfc distance away, ho was assisted into one of the wards, where he died shortly afterwards. The man was about 56 years of age. Nothing is known of his antecedents or relatives.
