THE SUNK KUAKA.

Yesterday afternoon Mr. Hauler, engineer of the Auckland Harbour Board, Mr. Watwick (the diver;, and a number of workmen, proceeded down to Rangitoto in the Board's Hire-float, in eider to nuke an examination of the oil launch Kuaka, which was sunk by the mail steamer Sierra on Tuesday morning last. On reaching the place when- the launched had been located, the diver went down, but tailed to dud the vessel. A lurther attempt will be made to-day to locate the launch.
