AUCKLAND WOOL SALES.
The .Auckland Woo'brokers' Association's second wool sale of the season will take pla.ee to-day, in the Chamber of Commerce Rooms, Swanson-street, commencing at nine a.m. sharp. The total number of bales catalogued is 3447. Owing to the bad state of the roads, several large lines from the North and Waingaro and other districts have not come to hand, but, "part from this fact, there is not the same quantity of wool offering at this season's sales as in previous years. This is due to a. shortage in the' docks, caused to a great extent by Australia drawing so largely on our supplies during the drought period. The quality of the lots catalogued is generally good. Messrs. G. W. Binney and Sons, who have catalogued 561 biles, will open the sale, and Messrs. A. Buckland.and Sons will follow with 1078 bales, the sale closing with the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company's catalogue, consisting of 1803 bales.
