ACCIDENT TO A DREDGEHAND.
[by telegraph.—PßESS ASSOCIATION.] Greymouth, Tuesday. A dredge-hand named Gilroy, wnile working at the Nforfch Beach dredge to-day, got his hand fearfully mangled by getting it caught in the cogwheels. It is hoped to save a portion of the hand. The accident was a very nasi} one.
