A FATAL ACCIDENT.

[BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Whangaeei, Tuesday. On Thursday last a man named John Williamson met with an accident, which subsequently proved fatal. He was proceeding to the gumfields at Whareohoa on one of Mr. William Beehre's carts, driven by a shan named Geo. Denuison. Williamson Was on the top of the \ load, and the road being very rough he was pitched off, sustaking injuries to his back, which were found to be of such a serious nature that he was taken to the hospital, where he died yesterday evening. The police inquired into the cause of death, find did not think it .■necessary to hold a.A inquest.
