THE WRECKAGE FOUND AT CHATHAM ISLANDS.
[BY telegraph.—press ASSOCIATION.] Christchtjrch, Monday. Information has been received that" the ship Loch Long, the wreckage from which was picked up at Chatham Islands on August 23, arrived in the Clyde from New Caledonia, on August 28. It is evident, therefore, that the wreckage must have resulted from the sweeping of the vessel's decks by a heavy "sea.
