A rather unusual occurrence has occurred at Yass, New South Wales, in connection with a proposed marriage. A resident of the district sought to be married by a local clergyman to his deceased brother's wife. The clergyman doubted its validity, and took legal advice. He found that though marriage with a deceased wife's sister was legalised by a specific Act, the marriage with a deceased brother's wife was illegal. The poultry-raiser wants eggs, and green bone and raw meat produce them; there is no doubt about that. The hen will do her part if you give her a chance.
