The Right Rev. T. H. Armstrong, Bis- . hop of Wangaratta, New South Wales, has received the .honorary degree of doctor of divinity from the University of Toronto (Canada). Dr. Armstrong studied at the i University of Melbourne (Trinity College), and tookhis B.A. degree hi 1880, and his M.A. degree in 1883.At the meeting of the Onehimga Borough ,: Council last night, the Mayor, on behalf of the Council presented Mr. J. N. Rishworth, on the occasion of his marriage, i -.. with a set of carvers. In making the presentation the Mayor expressed the best .'I wishes of the Council for Mr. and Mrs. '•X Rishworth in their married life. Mr. Rishworth suitably replied.
