A CIRCULAR TO INSPECTORS.
. [BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Sunday. Br direction of the Cabinet a circular has been issued to the inspectors of stock, noxious weeds, and dairies, and rabbit agents, directing that they are to abstain from accepting free accommodation from farmers while on duty.' The circular states that the attention of the Government has been drawn to the fact- that officers while performing official duties frequently utay with farmers and settlers, thereby. occasioning remarks by neighbours that such persons are unduly favoured by the Government. In future all officers will s*at6 in their monthly diaries where they stayed while travelling, and whether they ]Xtid for their accommodation or otherwise. ;;;
