The secretary (Mr. V. E. Rice) said that the Department was not, perhaps, aware that on 16 days in the year the Board had instructed the hoisting of school ■ nags in order to remind scholars of the Em- . Pne. It was decided, on the motion of Mr. 1,.- J. ]]agnall, to notify the Department of this fact.
