THE FARMERS' UNION.
[I3T TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] New Plymouth, Thursday. The Provincial Conference of the Farmers' Union opened this morning, about 40 delegates being present, including Mr. McCurdy, the chief organiser. The proceedings will last two days, the order paper being a long one. The delegates were entertained at a smoke concert tonight by leading business people.
