FOOTBALL. ARRANGEMENTS FOR SATURDAY'S RUGBY MATCHES. Tun weekly meeting ot the Management Committee of the Auckland Rugby Union was held in tho rooms of the Amateur Sports Club last, evening, Mr. F. M. Jervis in tho chair. After the transaction ot routine business, arrangements were made for next Saturday's Rugby Cup matches as under: — FIRST FrFTKEXS. No. 1 Ground: Newton v. The Management Committee of the Thames Rugby Union met this, evening, when an application was received from tho. Native. Rose Club for an Auckland referee in the match with Rovers on the 20th inst.< The Union decided to make the application, subject to the clubs paying half the expenses.
