Commenting upon Mr. Chamberlain's despatch on. the claims of the South Australian Government to report direct to the Colonial Office on certain matters, and not through the Federal Government, the Standard says the controversy reveals a rock upon which the Federal Constitution might conceivably be wrecked, but it hopes that the danger is more imaginary than real.
