By Telegraph.— Association.— Copyright. A WITNESS FINDS HIS MEMORY. (Received May 12. 10.41 p.m.) Sydney, May 12. Grand and Jones are again being tried foa the murder of Constable Long at Auburn. Woolford, the principal witness, again failing to remember anything the Government medical officer deposed that he was malingering. The judge severely cautioned Woolford, who appealed for a promise of protection. When this was given, and after con* 1 suiting hi,= solicitor, the witness found his memory under pressure from the judge, anoj gave evidence similar to that given at the first trial. His cross-examination, has not finished.
