Hobart, May 12. The s.s. Papanui, with the Bishop-elect fit Auckland and his family on board, resumed hei voyage to Wellington yesterday.

Canon Mac Murray writes as follows with reference to the consecration of the Bishopelect :—" A paragraph which appeared in the Herald about a proposed temporary gallery in St. Mary's Cathedral has caused me to be inundated with applications for tickets. Kindly let me state that no gallery will be erected, and that no more tickets are available, as tickets representing the full seating accommodation of the cathedral have been •issued."
