LADY SYBIL PRIMROSE'S WEDDING.

London-, March 23.— Earl of Rosebery's daughter, Lady Sybil Primrose, was married at Epsom to-day to Lieutenant C. J. 0. Grant, of the Coldstream Guards, .sou of Lieutenant-General Sir Robert Grant. The wedding was quiet, only near relatives and intimate friends of the families being present. Lord Rosebery gave away his daughter, who was attended bv eight bridesmaids, including Miss Muriel While, wearing the earl's racing colours, primrose and pink. A wedding luncheon was afterwards served at The Durdans, Lord Rosebery's seat at Epsom. The display of presents has rarely been equalled. King Edward, Queen Alexandra, the Prince and Princess of Wales, and other members of the Royal famih sent diamond bracelets or brooches. Lord "Rosebery's gilt amounted to a large fortune in diamonds and pearl tiaras, necklaces, bracelets etc. The Rothschilds and others sent the bride numerous costly jewels. _ Lady Sybil is 23 years" old and an heiress in her own right, having inherited a great fortune from her mother, who was a Rothschild. She is Lord Rosebery's eldest daughter, and in October, 1901, it was announced that she was engaged to the Karl of Beauchamp. Her marriage now is the result of a love match, and London society journals intimate Lord Rosebery gave his approval reluctantly, he having made other plans for •his daughter. Lady Svbil has been the Bole mistress of the Rosebery household since the death of her mother. " She was a favourite with Queen Victoria, and is a -very accomplished girl. ' pie groom has seen service in South Africa, and was in Lord Methuen's force at the battle of Belmont.
