[BY TELEGRAPH. ASSOCIATION.] DtJNEDiNi Monday. A deputation from the local council of the Australasian Association , for the Advancement of Science waited on the Premier this evening to ask for a grant of £500, and for printing of the proceedings of the meetings of the association to be held in Dunedin next January. The Premier said the Government would be pleased to welcome the delegates to the colony. The matter'would be brought before the Cabinet, and he thought Parliament might increase the grant.
