The Sunday-school anniversary services, in connection with the Franklin Road Primitive Methodist Church were held on Sunday, when the Revs. W. Laycock, Hugh Kelly, M.A., and W. S. Potter preached appropriate sermons. The scholars were ranged on either side of the pulpit and sang a number of special hymns with credit to themselves and acceptance to the congregation. Mr. J. Webster conducted, and Mr. S. Dimery presided at the organ.. The church was decorated. The congregations were very large, many being unable to obtain admission in the evening. .
